About Me
I am a Senior at San Marin High School. I have been in the STEM program for four years now, and it has allowed me to grow my passion for science. I am applying to college as an aerospace engineering major. Outside of school, I take piano lessons and am on my school's robotics team.
What is STEM?
STEM is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. It is a program at San Marin High School, where students who are passionate about science can choose to have two periods of science everyday. It is a four year program. During freshman year, STEM students take a physics and engineering class, sophomore year they take biology and biotech, junior year they take chemistry and another science class of their choice, and senior year they do senior capstone engineering as well as another science class of their choice. My elected science classes for junior year were AP Physics and AP Computer Science, and for senior year I am taking AP Chemistry.
