Project Description
In this project we had to build three instruments and describe how they worked in a document. We had to make a string, wind, and chime instrument. We had to figure out how to create different notes using our knowledge of frequency and wavelength. I made blueprints for the guitar and worked on it most of the time. It played a C4 through a C5.

Key Terms
Wavelength- The length of a wave from one point to another. wavelength=v/f
Frequency- The amount of waves in one second. f=v/wavelength or T=1/f. Frequency is measured in Hertz. We hear frequency as pitch.
Longitudinal Wave- Type of wave where particle movement is parallel to wave motion. They can only travel through a medium. Sound waves are longitudinal waves.
Amplitude- The height or magnitude of a wave. Amplitude determines a sound's loudness, and is measured in decibels.
Wave Speed- Velocity of a wave. v=wavelength(f)

One thing that I was good at this project was working hard during the whole period. I didn't get distracted or off task and I was always working to improve our project. I also helped my teammates out when they needed help. One downside of this project was that some group members didn't work as hard as others. Certain people weren't working while other people were. Our instruments could have been much better if everyone in the group contributed equally. One thing I could work on is motivating people in my group to work without getting mad at them. Also, we didn't work together as well as we could've. We each worked mostly individually. Overall, if we had worked together more and communicated better our project could have been improved.
