Buildable, Functioning, Prototypes
We created multiples prototypes and models of our dome. We created two different 3D models using Onshape, one that modeled the frame and ETFE panels, and one that modeled the overall structure of the double dome. We used that 3D model to create a 2D blueprint on Onshape. Our first physical prototype, that was broken during testing, was created using paper, aluminum foil, and hot glue. We created a second physical prototype out of wood, aluminum foil, and hot glue. This one was much more sturdy and was an accurate scaled down representation of our dome.
Product Website
Our website is a way for the public to easily get information about our project. This is a helpful form of marketing that will help increase public awareness for our project. It also includes reasons why people should invest in our project, as well as a way to contact us.
Prototype Performance Testing
We tested our original prototype dome in a simulated Mars sandstorm. We used a leaf-blower and sand to do this. The prototype dome broke, so we created a much stronger one out of wood instead of paper, with much stronger joints that could withstand more force. The improved dome was much sturdier and more reliable.
Marketing Materials
We created a technical digital poster, a flyer, and a business card to help market our design. The digital poster included all the technical specifications and information about our dome. The flyer is more of a way to get people interested in our project. The business card includes all of our contact information so that people can contact us if they are interested in learning more about our design or potentially investing in it.

Final Report/Presentation
Our final presentation is an overall summary of our project. It includes a lot of the reports that we have completed along the way, along with all of our models. We detailed the costs of all of the materials we are using to build the dome and the next steps that we would be taking. The final presentation will be to show off all of the work we have done and the final state of our project. All of our marketing materials, models, and this presentation will be displayed.
Reflection
These were the final steps to complete our project. My group worked at max efficiency. We divided up all of the work and got things done quickly and to the best of our abilities. We were productive both at school, and at home. Now that the project is over, I can look back at all the things that we did well and all the things that didn't go very well. Especially at the start, we struggled with dividing up the work and getting stuff done outside of school. Overall, I am impressed by how much our teamwork improved over the course of the semester. Despite all of the setbacks we faced with broken 3D printers we didn't give up on this project, and we ended up getting it done.
